The second
issue of the Mail Research Journal is now available. Unlike the first journal the
subject matter of this edition is limited to one specific form of mail armour
commonly referred to as lorica plumata, but more accurately called lorica
hamata squamataque. Researcher Martijn Wijnhoven has
penned two highly informative articles on this most interesting style of armour.
